Canvass Director, Grassroots Campaigns, Philadelphia (Posted February 5)
NOW HIRING LEADERSHIP STAFF TO WORK ON PROGRESSIVE CAMPAIGNS
Democratic victories this fall, particularly of President-Elect Obama, were a huge first step towards moving this country in the right direction; NOW is the time to act! If we want to see real change in Washington and in our country we need to work hard and hold our elected officials accountable for the promises they made during the campaign. We must be active in our democracy!
We are currently seeking hard-working, passionate leaders to work on one of our progressive campaigns to push forward the important issues such as closing down Guantanamo Bay, restoring our civil liberties, protecting women’s rights, and giving children at home and abroad the basic tools they need to succeed in the world. Now that we have established a progressive movement in our country it is crucial that we let the voices of Americans heard!
We need to work now to mobilize citizen support to make sure this opportunity does not pass us by!
