This position will be based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Job Description

• Supervising regional field coordinators and effectively communicating field programs and trainings to coordinators
• Taking initiative and creating procedures to ensure that field programs are properly carried out in all regional offices
• Organizing and tracking all field records in a timely manner
• Producing analysis of all field records according to designed timetable
• Writing program/field status reports for Senior Staff
• Assisting field coordinators with the recruitment and training of field staff, volunteers and interns
• Assisting Senior Staff in the development of data analysis, particularly within such programs as Voter Registration, Get Out the Vote, and Advocacy
• Assisting in the development of website content, mainly those concerning status reports for regional field offices
• Identifying opportunities for program development in various regions throughout the country
• Organizing trainings and workshops for community and political leaders, the public and the media

Requirements:

? Minimum five years experience in grassroots/political organizing.
? B.A. in a related field preferred
? Be well-organized and able to meet frequent deadlines.
? Willingness to learn, to take initiative and to use creativity in problem solving.
? Computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
? Commitment to Democracia U.S.A. program goals and progressive causes.
? Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish and English highly preferred.
? Ability and willingness to work long and irregular hours when needed.
